そこから立て続けに楽曲のリリースを重ね、2025年7月9日にリリースしたDigital EP 「ネオンテトラ」収録の「aquarium」は、
テレビ東京7月期ドラマNEXT「雨上がりの僕らについて」オープニング主題歌として書き下ろされた。
同年9月17日にはA.S.A.Bよりメジャーデビューが決定。メジャー1st SIngle「レイ」のリリースを経て、
TVアニメ「ガチアクタ」第2クールエンディング主題歌に新曲「番」が抜擢されるなど、その卓越した音楽性が早くも話題となっている。
結成時から着実に積み重ねられたスキルで、そのジャンルレスな音楽性を彩豊かに表現するライブパフォーマンスは観る人を魅了し、
2023年には「MONSTER baSH 2023 オーディション」のグランプリを獲得。
2024年には「ROAD TO ROCK IN JAPAN FES. CHIBA 2024」の優勝アーティストにも選出され、

楽曲の中にこのモチーフが入っていたらより作品に没入できるかな、とか、このキャラクターはこの時何を思っているのかな、とか、想像というよりもはや妄想に近いような、アニメ好きの僕にはたまらない、幸せで楽しい制作でした。
10000文字でも足りないくらい語りたいことはありますが、なにより、大好きな作品に音楽という形で携われて光栄です。本当にありがとうございます。

karanoah is a three-piece band formed of Yudai (vocals, guitar), Tatsuki (bass) and Kazuki (drums). Yudai’s soft yet powerful, clear vocals captivate listeners through a wide variety of genres including rock, pop, and alternative.
Officially launching in 2023, the band released their first tie-up track in April 2024 with “nemu”, the ending theme for Fuji TV’s “Kiseki Taiken! Unbelievable.” From there they continued to successively release new material, including “aquarium,” which was written as the opening theme for TV Tokyo’s July Drama NEXT, “Ameagari no Bokura ni Tsuite,” and featured on their digital EP “Neon Tetra,” released on July 9, 2025.
On September 17 of the same year, they made their major debut under the A.S.A.B label with their first single, “rei”. They quickly garnered attention for their incredible musical talent, with their new song “BAN” chosen as the ending theme for the second cour of the anime series “Gachiakuta.”

When creating this song, the world of Gachiakuta was my top priority. I kept thinking things like, “If this element was added into the music, would it get people more into the story?” or “What could this character be feeling in this moment?”—to the point where it felt less like imagination and more like wild fantasizing, which for an anime fan like me made it an unbelievably happy and enjoyable process. There’s so much I could say that even 10,000 words wouldn’t be enough, but more than anything, I feel truly honored to contribute to this series I love through music. Thank you so much.
This song is 100% my own interpretation of the series explored from different perspectives, and I hope you all enjoy it. The more you listen to it, the more you might discover...

I actually read through the manga to work on this song, and I think we succeeded in creating what could be called our masterpiece: the sound of karanoah matched perfectly with the world of Gachiakuta. I hope this song reaches loads of people alongside Gachiakuta.

This was karanoah’s first anime tie-up, and just like Rudo, we gave it our all to create it. I think it’s a track that both channels the world of Gachiakuta and packs the unique sound of karanoah, including Yudai’s distinctive lyrics and rapid-fire delivery. There’s also all kinds of sounds blended into the drums and other percussion. Be sure to check it out together with the anime!

In a world with so much trivial discord these days, I was really struck by the protagonist Rudo’s youthful and sincere purity, how he discovers what’s important to him despite being ostracized, and how he fights with all his might for his friends.
I’m deeply honored to be able to contribute to a title I love, and I’ve put my heart and soul into the track “TOMOSHIBI”so that it embodies Rudo and his crew’s “gachi,” intensely authentic way of life. I hope you enjoy it along with the anime.
