My name is Fumihiko Suganuma and I’m the director of the upcoming Gachiakuta anime.
I’ll do my best to deliver 120% of the unique spirit and passion of the manga, and create a show that both Gachiakuta fans and viewers new to the series will enjoy. -

Street smart—this was the very first word that popped into my mind when I read Gachiakuta.
I see the manga as being filled with knowledge and insights that manga artist Kei Urana and graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou gained not in the classroom, but first-hand on the streets, sometimes in tough experiences that they powered through to survive.
So every page has a sort of nostalgic old-school “street” vibe that can be rough and gawky, but also so straight and powerful.
I really love this kind of work.

Everything about Gachiakuta—the story, Urana’s artwork, Andou’s graffiti, and the world they’ve created—is really captivating.
The different expressions, the dynamism and sketches that Urana draws are all incredible, and I hope to do justice to this fantastic artwork.
And you can look forward to awesome action scenes too. -

I've created music that is dirty, noisy and loud—like a mishmash of odd bits of junk and trash that have been all pressed together and solidified. I hope you'll enjoy the wild Gachiakuta universe.

When I read the manga, I remember being immediately drawn to Rudo by his intense gaze.
He has an anger so explosive that it feels like you could be blown away if you’re not careful.
I’ll do my best to bring his simmering rage to life. -

I’m really excited that Gachiakuta is being adapted into an anime!
I’m also grateful to have the opportunity to play the role of Enjin!
I really want everyone to watch it—this manga is one of my favorites! Thank you for your support!! -
ZankaYoshitsugu MatsuokaZankaYoshitsugu Matsuoka
This time, I’ll be voicing an intriguing character named Zanka.
Some may see him as blunt and unapproachable with a difficult personality, but he’s surprisingly caring.
I hope you’ll enjoy that contrast! The first time he meets Rudo is a real thrill, so don’t miss it! -

I’m Yumiri Hanamori, and I’ll be voicing Riyo.
Like a black cat, she’s free-spirited and elusive—cute, yet with a subtle allure.
I’ll do my best to convey her unique charm. Thank you for your support! -
RegtoToshiyuki MorikawaRegtoToshiyuki Morikawa
I’m Toshiyuki Morikawa, and I'll be doing the voice of Regto.
He is the adopted father of main character Rudo and knows him better than anyone else.
My character’s role is to watch over Rudo with both brotherly care and paternal strength.
I’ll give it my best to bring him to life. -

I think the passion that fills the manga will come through even more in anime form.
It’s still to be revealed what kind of role my character Jabber plays, but he’s crazy and incredible, so look forward to it!
When I was little, I used to sit in front of the TV eagerly waiting for my favorite anime shows to come on.
And as that little kid, I used to dream about one day having my own manga turned into an anime by Bones, a studio I love.
I’m looking forward to watching the Gachiakuta anime on the screen together with you all!
